Put Up or Shut Up!
Now that Jon Elrod has dropped out of the race for the 7th Congressional District, there is a question as to who (if anybody) will step up to run in his place. A replacement would have to be chosen by GOP precinct committeemen in the District.
I’ll let you guys play the name game, but I’m waiting to see if any of the people who have been complaining about the current Marion County GOP leadership and plotting “a revolution” will step up to the plate and run.
These are the same people who spend all day in the blogosphere and in small circles complaining that the County party doesn’t know how to run against Andre Carson. Well boys and girls, here’s your chance.
Start calling precinct committeemen, win your party’s nomination, run the campaign you’ve always wanted, lose 53-47 percent and then come back and tell me how it feels.
By the way, with Barack Obama at the top of the ticket you might lose by an even bigger margin.
