White Fight
The controversy continues in Indianapolis Public Schools. Indiana Barrister has obtained a copy of a recorded conversation between former IPS Principal Jeffrey White and his District supervisor Prudence Bridgewaters.
In the conversation Bridgewaters tells White that he is not allowed to suspend students because of the school district will get sued, however the district’s public position that they are working with children to keep them in school. You can hear that conversation by clicking below.

In IPS’ latest annual report out of school suspensions went from 4032 in 2007 to 2473 in 2008. I had asked IPS Superintendent Dr. Eugene White in an March 25th interview on my morning radio show if he had ever not suspended a student due to the threat of a lawsuit.
His response was an emphatic “no.”
White was removed as principal of John Marshall School earlier this year. IPS officials would not comment on the specifics of the removal, however in a March 19th meeting with parents, White said if “[Jeff] White was doing such a really great job, then you know the reason we let him go had to be really bad.”

I can’t believe Prudence Bridgewaters is now an IPS administrator. Several years back she was working for Mansur selling lots in Fall Creek Place. She created all kinds of problems and lawsuits for Mansur and the City. The idea that this woman would be in a position to tell Jeff White what he can and cannot do is incomprehensible. I’ve just lost more respect for Dr. Eugene White.

Dr. White is a liar and a bully….this is just one example out of hundreds but he is protected by Mary Bush…..The stories and history of Prudence Bridgewaters and IPS would fill a book…she belongs in prison not on the IPS payroll………….There are many other principals who could tell similar stories but they do not have the courage or need to feed their families….everyone knows Dr. White is the problem…

Dr. Bridgwaters was asked to ‘leave’ IPS several years ago because of suspected mismanagement of school funds at the middle school where she was the principal. From there, she went into the private sector.
Then, Eugene White rehired this woman and placed her in the Ed Center as a top line administrator when he came onboard as IPS Superintendent. What was the IPS School Board thinking???

Dave – it’s succeeding at turning out graduates and drop-outs who cannot comprehend or respond to the crisis that we face as an independent nation with a free society. When viewed from a national perspective, IPS is a leader in assuring that those who want to circumvent our constitution in favor of a global structure will receive minimal resistance from the average American – most will be more interested in XBox or finding their next high.

In the eyes of our national leadership, IPS is a shining example – which explains why Dr. White is a candidate to recieve a national award as the top school superintendent.

Just like Nero fiddled while Rome was burning, Eugene White is ‘fiddling’ around on a taxpayer funded trip to China where he’s apparently recruiting Chinese teachers for IPS. Just imagine, many IPS students are not conversant or fluent in English, and now he’s going to add Chinese to the curriculum.
Dr. White is simply out to make a big name for himself as an urban superintendent. Recruiting Chinese teachers makes for ‘good copy’ and gets him noticed in the national educational community.
